One Idea!

One idea! That is all it takes to change the world! 

I think about a guy like Brian Kim who God inspired this idea: get some red tape, write LIFE on it and place it across your mouth as you pray against abortion.  What a simple yet creative idea! This idea has shaped the prolife prayer movement and it has taken the wind out of the sails of abortion here in America like nothing else we have ever tried. One Idea!

I think about a charismatic-Mennonite church in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia that decided they would “adopt” an unreached people group, before anyone knew that meant.  They made it their personal responsibility to pray for and send missionaries to a group of people in Albania that had not heard the Gospel.  In the course of doing this, not only did they see this group in Albania reached with the message of Christ, but a new concept in modern missions was birthed that has seen hundreds of unreached people groups reached as well. One Idea!

One idea!  These ideas impacted the world.  I believe that we were made in the image of God, and that God is a creative God!  If I am made in his image, than somewhere in my DNA there is the creativity that God breathed into me.  This creativity has the capacity to receive and produce ideas that will impact the world, change it for God’s glory… where is my idea? I want it… I want impact the earth in my time here on earth.

To answer my own question, my idea is in the heart of God and I must go touch His heart to receive it.  I must set my face to seek Him and once His idea has made its transfer from His heart to mine, the fight it on.  I must protect it, fight for it, see it birthed in the earth!
